Howdy

Our Five-Year Reunion is quickly approaching! It seems like just the other day we graduated and Dr. Gates, now Secretary Gates, shook our hands as we walked across the stage with our diploma. Immense change has come to Aggieland over the last five years, and we want to be the first to welcome you back for our Five-Year Reunion. We hope you will join us September 3-5, 2010, in Aggieland as we reminisce with a weekend filled with friends and Aggie football at Kyle Field.  All the details about the Reunion can be found on this page:  hotel, schedule of events, football tickets, event registration and who’s attending. We realize the hotel costs are a bit more expensive than usual due to the Aggie Football weekend, but we hope you’ll respond ASAP. There is limited space in the hotel block and any extra space will be released soon so be sure to make your reservation now. Our Reunion page also shows a list of who has purchased tickets in the Class Block and it will be updated daily with those who sign up for Reunion activities. We hope you’ll join us in September as we watch the Aggies B.T.H.O Stephen F. Austin! Whoop! Be sure to get in touch with your roommates, Corps and outfit buddies, sorority sisters, fraternity brothers, student organization friends and Classmates to encourage as many people to attend as possible.  We encourage you to post the link for the Reunion on your Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts for everyone to see. To continue receiving all of the details on the upcoming Reunion, please add “@aggienetwork.com” to your email address book. While checking the details of the Reunion double check to see if you and your friends information is current on AggieNetwork.com.  If not please email them this page link and invite them to the party.

Class Agents

Class Agents serve as a liaison between their Class and The Association. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved as a former student, stay connected to the university and help lead your Class supporting A&M. Elections are held every five years, so now is your chance!

Teams consist of three to four members of your Class and serve a five-year term. As a Class Agent you will serve on The Association of Former Students’ Leadership Council, which meets twice a year. The Association of Former Students provides orientation and resources to aid you in this role. Class Agents are responsible for keeping the Class informed through newsletters, web sites and emails, planning Class events and providing annual fund information to former students.

Class Agent elections will be held after the Reunion, if needed.  The actual election will be held online to allow Classmates not in attendance at the Reunion the chance to vote.  Class Agent teams will be allowed to speak during the business meeting on Saturday during the Reunion.

For more information please contact the Class Programs office Class@AggieNetwork.com or call 800-633-7514 at least 14 days prior to your Reunion to get your name on the ballot!  All nominations must be received by the Reunion Registration Deadline.
