Howdy

Whoop!  We tried to pick the most exciting game for our Reunion.  Who else but Texas Tech?  On Friday, we will gather for dinner, dance, and a silent auction with lots of time for visiting.  On Saturday, the ex-CTs can March-in to the game as part of Rally to the Guidons.  For those not interested in participating in March-in you can tailgate at The Association’s tent for pre-game.  We will have a post game meal and Class meeting at the newly remodeled Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.  Since game time will not be announced until a few weeks prior, our schedule may need to adjust with the announcement.  We will hold a goodbye breakfast at the Hilton on Sunday Morning after the sunrise Silver Taps at the Bonfire memorial.   For the locals, golf outing participants or those who plan to arrive a day early, we are having an informal dutch treat gathering on Thursday night at Koppe Bridge Bar & Grill (on Highway 30 heading toward Hunstville).

We will be hearing from the Vice-President of Student Affairs, LTG Joe Weber ’72 on Friday evening and during our Class meeting on Saturday we will be selecting Class Agents to fill in the void left by retiring Class Agent Sam Torn and discussing our Class Gift project.

Please make sure your information is up-to-date with The Association so you can continue to receive information on the Class and this Reunion.  Don’t forget to check our Class website for information on the Class at http://class.aggienetwork.com/classof1970/ and continue to check www.AggieNetwork.com/Reunions for information on our 40 Year Reunion.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone and hope that your trip to Aggieland will be a memorable one.  The campus has had many changes since our last Reunion, so you may want to spend some time visiting those new additions, including Military Walk and the new Life Sciences Building.

Silent Auction

Howdy Aggie Buddies!

As you know, our great Class of 1970 is celebrating our 40 Year Reunion on October 29-31, 2010, in College Station in connection with the Texas Tech game.  As a way to raise funds for our Class activities, we will be holding a silent auction on October 29 during our dinner/dance and prior to Midnight Yell Practice

We are inviting you as a member of the Class to participate in this auction by donating a unique item that shows and represents your business and/or products or maybe even something that you have been hoarding for 40 years that you believe will bring in some money.

It’s a great way to tell your Classmates that you have a business and are damn proud of it!  Also, it’s a great way to advertise your product or just to show that you support the Aggie way of giving.

A letter of acknowledgement of your gift will be mailed to you.

Silent Auction Items will be posted on the Class website at: http://class.aggienetwork.com/class70
