Become a Constituent Network
Howdy,
The Association of Former Students is excited about your organization's interest in becoming a chartered Constituent Network. Below you will find the step by step process along with a snapshot of what will happen following your application submission.
Should you have any questions please contact Katy Lee '08, Coordinator of Constituent Networks and Young Alumni, at 979-845-7514 or at ConstituentNetworks@AggieNetwork.com and we will be glad to help.
- First your organization will need to complete an application form.
- A copy of your bylaws will need to be submitted. All constituent networks must maintain bylaws that are consistent with The Association of Former Students mission. The sample Bylaws provide a guide to establish or compare with.
Within the sample Bylaws, you will notice that various sections are marked as “mandatory”. Please note that although a Chartered Constituent Network is not required to use the exact wording in these particular sections, we do believe it is prudent that a section covering the subject matter in those paragraphs be included in your Bylaws in some fashion.
Please prepare each item listed below to mail to:

The chartering process can take a minimum of 4-6 weeks. Once all items are received, they will be reviewed and discussed with the leadership of your organization. Upon approval and chartering, a delegate from your organization will receive the New Constituent Network packet.
