Start this cool northern cruise with a night in London before boarding Oceania’s new Marina. Two days in Dublin allows us time to visit historic Trinity College and the Book of Kells. Pubs and tea rooms line the byways of this gracious old city. Delight in Belfast, a vibrant city of ornate Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Visit the Giants’ Causeway, a geological phenomenon of uneven basalt columns disappearing into the sea. Next visit the starkly beautiful countryside of Iceland with its lava formations, glaciers and incredible waterfalls. What a surprise to also find a modern city with its thermally heated outdoor swimming pool, remarkable Botanic Gardens and folk museum. Expect long days of sunshine and glorious scenery in the countries of Scandinavia. Kristiansand and Oslo, Norway, radiate with natural beauty.
