Aggies are preparing once again for Texas A&M's
oldest and most revered tradition-Aggie Muster. More than 300 ceremonies of
Muster are held every year on April 21st throughout Texas, the United States,
and around the world.
Muster ceremonies have evolved to reflect the preferences and personalities of
those who host them. From the small county gatherings with barbeque and beer to
the larger formal events that use hotel ballrooms, the observances have
become as diverse as Aggies themselves. Last year 42 international ceremonies
were reported with the largest on campus with 12,000 people
gathering at Reed Arena to honor the Aggies that have gone before us.
The Association of Former Students preserves and promotes this sacred and
time-honored tradition. The Association supports Musters around the world,
providing:
- Planning handbooks to A&M Clubs and other groups
- A list of the
deceased
- Promotional Support as needed
