Officially founded in 1997, the LegisLeader Network of The Association of Former Students is the vehicle for expressing the views of Aggies in the enhancement of higher education and the promotion of Texas A&M University. Institutions of higher learning throughout the state of Texas remain a key component to the economic stability of our state. As such, the LegisLeader Network engages volunteers to represent appropriate issues identified by The Association and the university.
LegisLeaders are selected to serve in each of Texas’ State House and Senatorial districts. Our volunteers are involved members of their communities, acquainted with their respective legislators and have a strong relationship with The Association of Former Students and Texas A&M University.
The LegisLeader Network of The Association of Former Students is a nonpartisan advocacy program of volunteers who believe in the value of higher education at Texas A&M University.
