Summer Leadership Council Meeting

The Leadership Council is the governing body of The Association of Former Students and the representative body of our worldwide Aggie Network. The Council is comprised of The Association’s Board of Directors, Association Past Chairs, Class Agents, A&M Club Presidents, Area and National Representatives, Representatives at Large, Student Loan Fund Trustees, Constituent Network Representatives, the Sul Ross Group President, the Student Body Class Presidents and Councilmen Emeriti. These 610 Aggie volunteers are The Association’s ambassadors to the Aggie Network.

2012 Distinguished Alumni Gala

Jointly sponsored by The Association of Former Students and Texas A&M University, the Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest honor Texas A&M University can bestow upon a former student. This award, which was established in 1962, recognizes those alumni and alumnae who, through their distinction in their chosen field of endeavor, selfless service to society, and dedication and loyalty to the University, exemplify the core values of Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect, and Selfless Service. In addition to celebrating the 204 former students who have received Texas A&M's highest honor, the Distinguished Alumnus Award, we will proudly salute this year's recipients who once again exemplify the very best of Texas A&M.

The Traveling Aggies program offers former students, current students, their families and friends of Texas A&M the opportunity to travel and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Aggies. The Traveling Aggies Reunion is an opportunity for travelers to celebrate their trip(s) with fellow Aggies and learn about what is to come from the Traveling Aggies program.
